AGREEMENT BETWEEN
The Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of the Republic of Estonia, hereinafter referred to as the Parties, taking into account their traditional long-term economic relations, desiring to maintain and strengthen economic, scientific and technical cooperation, being guided by the principles of equality, mutual interests and international law, have agreed as follows:
Article 1
The Parties shall develop, strengthen and diversify, in accordance with their national law, economic, scientific and technical cooperation on a mutually beneficial basis and in the spheres of mutual interest.
Article 2
Taking into account the achieved level of economic, scientific and technical cooperation, the Parties have agreed that there exist favourable opportunities for long-term cooperation, in particular in the following areas: - science and technology; - internationalization of technology-based enterprises; - education and experts training in different industries; - ICT and telecommunications industry; - tourism; - financial and business services; - transport and logistics; . - electronic industry; - chemical industry; . - food industry; - wood and paper industry; - metal industry; -textile industry; - construction and real estate industry; - energy industry, including inter alia modernization, reconstruction and development in fossil, renewable and alternative energy sectors and related systems; - cooperation in the spheres of industrial and civil construction; - cooperation in the sphere of statistics. This list of areas of cooperation is not exhaustive and may be extended by mutual agreement of the competent authorities of the Parties.
Article 3
To further the cooperation in economic, scientific and technical areas, the Parties have agreed: a) to promote links and strengthen cooperation between government institutions, professional organizations, business associations, regional and local entities with the aim of encouraging the exchange of economic information of mutual interest, as well as visits of their representatives and other economic and technical experts; b) to exchange information between government institutions in relevant priority areas with the aim of facilitating the cooperation of economic agents of both countries; c) to facilitate new contacts and broaden the existing ones between the business circles of the two countries, encouraging the visits, meetings and other interactions between them; d) to exchange information on fairs and exhibitions, to promote the organization of business events, seminars, symposia, conferences and other forms of business cooperation; Документ показан в сокращенном демонстрационном режиме
