Error field, ERF - identification of errors discovered in the previous test message (ISO 8732). Eurobonds - debt instruments printed typographically mainly to the bearer, initially offered totally or to a greater extent in the borrower’s country or issued by a supranational organization. They are exempted from government control; they are not levied by income tax and are listed on the world markets (ISO 7775). Exchange rate - a price for which one currency can be bought by other currency (ISO 7775). The exchange rate between two currencies used in settlements and net amount (ISO 7775). The exchange rate between two currencies specified in the message. (ISO 7746). Extended PAN - identification of a client’s account if PAN begins with «59» (ISO 8583). Extended PAN country code - a code identifying the country where a card issuer is located. (ISO 8583). Field tag - several symbols in formatted messages that identify the value and location of a respective data field (ISO 7775, ISO 8732). Financial institution - an organization established with a primary purpose to offer and perform services related to financial (monetary) servicing (ISO 7982-1). Financial transaction card - a card used to identify a card issuer and a cardholder in order to expedite a financial transaction and to input data for its performance (ISO 7813). Funds transfer transaction - flow of funds directly between two parties without intermediaries except for means of communication (ISO 7746, ISO 7982-1). Gross amount - an amount of gross income equivalent to dividend or interest rate multiplied by the number of securities (ISO 7775). Intermediary financial institution advice information - information, e.g. telephone number, telegraph address, a contact person etc. to simplify advising a financial intermediary organization (ISO 7982-1). Intermediary financial institution identifier - a code unambiguously identifying a financial intermediary organization; it can include specification of a type of identifier code (ISO 7982-1). Intermediary financial institution(s) - financial organization via which transmittance is to be made (in case of sender’s instructions) between the financial receiving organization and a beneficiary’s financial organization. In such cases it is a crediting party for a financial organization (ISO 7746, ISO 7982-1). Issuer - an organization (or its agents) that issues instruments for financial market. An organization that maintains an account identifying PAN (ISO 9564-1). Issuer identification number, IIN - a number identifying a branch and a card issuer that forms the first part of an identification number (ISO 4909, ISO 7812). Key distribution centre, CKD - the main function of the center - generating cryptographic keys for distribution (ISO 8732). Loro account - an account kept by a bank as instructed by the bank holding an account (ISO 7341, ISO 7982-1). Minor unit of currency - fractions of the principal currency unit representing the established value (ISO 4217). Multipurpose Integrated Circuit card, IC card - an electronic card allowing to use several application files developed by one or different software developers (ISO 7982-1). Nostro account - record of transactions by a bank holding an account with the bank where transactions are performed (ISO 7341, ISO 7982-1). Notarization - a method of modification of cryptographic keys (ISO 8732). Opening balance - end balance of the pervious period (ISO 7341). Original transfer amount - a gross amount to be transferred to a beneficiary under the order of a transferor (ISO 7982-1). Originator identifier - a code unambiguously identifying a payment order initiator; it can include ID code type specification (ISO 7982-1). Payment service - service providing transmission of messages between the participants and establishing formats for messages containing instruction on funds transfer (ISO 7982-1). Personal identification number, PIN - a client ID code (ISO 9654-1, ISO 4909). Pseudo-random number - a number which is almost unpredictable, though it is derived based on the algorithmic process (ISO 9654-1). Random number - a combination of digits the probability of which is equal to the probability of any other combination (ISO 9654-1). Receiver’s correspondent - a recipient’s branch or other financial organization where funds where funds are transmitted into disposal of a recipient (ISO 7982-1).
